We have another date to add to our last dates for 2025…
Now…Steam Ranger Heritage Railway have been amaaaazing putting on a couple of Special Night Trains for us this year with the first being at our Good Friday Special Twilight Extravaganza Event…which BTW…was amaaaazing…thankyou to EVERYONE who came along!!!
The second date was at our recent Haunted Halloween Special Twilight Event…which was absolutely fantabulous…and the Train Crew went all out with their costumes and carriage atmosphere…making it truly a memorable experience for all passengers heading to the VHAM and the Victor Harbor CBD Halloween Adventure Trail!!!
So…when they asked if I would put on a Special Market Event date to compliment their Xmas Night Train…the answer was a BIG Fat YES!!!
We already have our VHAM Fam stallholders booking in for the date so it’s lookin like another fabulouso night to remember!!!
The Train will be lit up like a Christmas Tree and heading from Goolwa to Victor Harbor for our Market Event with a 2 hr 15 min stop over which gives you plenty of time to peruse the market space…relax to some music…get a bite to eat…and enjoy the xmas ambiance!!

I am so very sorry to say that unfortunately we will have to CANCEL our Special Xmas Train Event this evenin....Sunday 21 Dec
As you can probably see it's a lil bit (...a lot!) rainy...we've had a number of power cuts...and the forecast is indicating that the winds will be amping up this arvo in our Bump IN time...AND Event time...to 37km with 50+ Gusts...which is pretty hiiiiiiigh!!!!
As a market goer...who may like to see the show go ahead...that could be ok...you could run in...check out a few stalls...realize it's a not really the weather for it...and go home...
...but our lovely VHAM Fam stallholders on the other hand...have soooo much involved...the making...the preparation...the packing up of their cars...the driving from afar for some...unpacking...setting up....out in the elements all day or evenin...then packing down...packing the car up again...before a drive home...then unpacking the car...and making more stock....phew...I'm tired just writing it!!!!
It's a LOT of work...and a lot of time...8 + hours...outside in the elements...which is great when it's lovely...but not so great when it's not!!
Why am I telling you this....?
...well I just want you to know how hard these amaaaazing people work...and though they are following their Dreams and Passions...it's not always easy...it can be trying...it can be cold...they can lose stock or have damaged Gazebos...but each time they come back with more of a passion....
...and if there was anything that might inspire you to shop with the lil guy....the small Business entrepreneur...maybe that would be it...because they really really really deserve it...
Though I do still go to Woolies and Coles...Big W and Khub...if ya see me there please don't call me a hypocrite...I'm still working on a budget...but I'm really shifting my shopping more and more… where I can… to small business...as I am definitely inspired by these b-eaut-ifulll souls to do so... as I see how much goes into it...
...Imagine if we all were so inspired...that would be World Changing...
...from supporting billion dollar BIG Business Profits...
....to putting food on the table...sending kids to school...helping to pay bills...
...just sayin...
